Meeting TUPE Requirements

for

Group Income Protection


TUPE and Group Income Protection can present a real challenge for employers and advisers.  

 

If you have an urgent need to mirror existing Group Income Protection cover as part of contractual requirements under TUPE arrangements, the Society can help. 

 

Appreciating that your TUPE time scale is critical, we can work quickly to consider bespoke requirements or cover arrangements which are outside of our normal terms. We offer a dedicated point of contact and a promise of quick decisions. 

 

As a specialist provider we can also consider:

 

  • shorter deferred periods – our Group Income Protection plans offer deferred periods from 4 weeks to 52 weeks, though if you have a requirement outside of these, let us know and we will consider your request.
  • cover for manual occupations – our Friendly Society history was based around the provision of cover to members working in manual occupations – we are happy to consider Group Income Replacement applications that include Class 4 manual occupations.
  • unusual or bespoke business arrangements – some business contractual arrangements require bespoke consideration - we are happy to consider more challenging business arrangements.
