Q. Jon, how long have you been working at Wiltshire Friendly Society?
Nearly 5 years now, time flies!
Q. What are the main responsibilities of your job?
My role is a mixed bag, though all related to New Business administration whether that be in relation to Individual or Group plans. I also talk directly with members, helping to progress their application and medical underwriting, and also Financial Advisers about their client’s plans.
Q. What do you like best about your job?
The variety of the job, within New Business there are many different aspects which keeps me interested.
Q. What does a good day look like for you?
Managing my workload and completing my “to-do” list.
Q. As a Member, should I be reassured you exist?
100% - I am key in helping you join the Society, keeping you informed of the progress of your membership application and issuing your membership documents.
Q. What do you like to do in your time outside of work?
I love watching sport and play golf occasionally when my young daughter lets me.
Q. And finally, how would your colleagues at work describe you?
Positive, friendly, can-do attitude and a passion for telling bad jokes.
